Welcome to the home of the 2004 IndoHoops CANADA National Tournament.  We are glad that you will be able to join us for our 20th anniversary. 

A couple of guys disorganized the first Indo-Canadian game of basketball roughly twenty years back. What began as a small local tourney consisting of two teams has turned into a hotbed for IndoHoops.

The first legitimate Indo-Canadian basketball tournament was held by Taj Johal and Bira Bindra in 1985. They pioneered the annual May Tournament for over a decade and established it as the premier Indo-Canadian basketball event.  I had the opportunity to get involved many years later. Today, our National Tournament features the best Indian athletes on the planet.  We have had the privilege of hosting teams from India, California, Illinois, Maryland and Texas.  Undoubtedly, this is where the BEST come to play the BEST for the ultimate prize. 

IndoHoops CANADA has taken the responsibility of being a community leader. We recognize that our members have made large strides in the greater Canadian basketball community. There are currently numerous male and female university/college student-athletes setting a great example for future generations. BUT, we also recognize that all is not well within our community. It is imperative that we all work together to subdue this trend. We will be working with other organizations to help bring UNITY. 

Enjoy this year's festivities.  Let's use OUR tourney as a platform to show others that we are all ONE and that collectively we can attain peace, harmony and excellence.
